Jeff Moore recently spoke before the Chamber of Commerce Business Women on May 21st regarding estate planning issues.
Annual Legal Update
In February of this year, the firm presented its 2007 Legal Update & Business Outlook at the Salem Conference Center. The speakers this year were Hunter Emerick, Mark Shipman, Erich Paetsch and a guest speaker, Graham Slater, from the State of Oregon Employment Department. The topics presented were "Political and Judical Reactions to Measure 37: The Death of Populism" and "Creditor Strategies: Minimizing Risk and Maximizing Return." Mr. Slater then presented his economic outlook for Oregon and the Willamette Valley, which included special focus on agriculture, professional services, development, construction and manufacturing.
