Freeman Green's practice is focused on estate planning, probate, estate and trust administration, and protective proceedings (guardianships and conservatorships).
Freeman regularly works with individuals and couples to design and implement estate plans that accomplish the client's wishes while at the same time reducing future tax burdens and court costs. He uses a variety of documents to accomplish his clients' objectives, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and health care directives.
Probate, Estate, and Trust Administration
Freeman represents Trustees in the administration of Trusts, and Personal Representatives in the administration of probate estates. He prepares and reviews estate tax returns, and supervises Personal Representatives and Trustees in the proper administration and transfer of estate and trust assets.
Protective Proceedings (Guardianships & Conservatorships)
Freeman assists clients in the establishment and maintenance of guardianships and conservatorships for minor children and mentally incapacitated individuals.

Freeman serves as a Trustee on the Board of Directors for the Boys & Girls Club of Salem, Marion & Polk Counties Foundation. He is member of WealthCounsel, the Willamette Valley Estate Planning Council, the Mid-Valley Tax Forum, the Estate Planning and Administration Section of the Oregon State Bar, and the Trusts and Estates Section of the State Bar of California.
Freeman has lectured and authored articles on a number of estate planning topics, including trust-based estate planning, trustee selection, estate planning for tax professionals, transfer on death deeds, legal ethics during estate administration, and the intersection of personal injury law and estate administration.
Off The Job
As a husband and father of four daughters, Freeman's family receives most of his spare time and attention. He and his wife, Stephanie, first met as preschoolers, and married after each completed their undergraduate degree in 2005. A boy that never entirely grew up, Freeman enjoys hiking, fishing, bow hunting, paintballing, chopping fire wood, and exploring old logging roads on his mountain bike. At night, he settles down by telling bedtime stories to his daughters and reading books with an adventure nexus.
