We are growing, and we continue to look to expand by hiring lawyers with a commitment to excellence and attention to client service that is compatible with the culture of our firm. In our hiring process we carefully evaluate applicants and finalists are given an opportunity to visit with each of the shareholders and associates.

This commitment of time and resources in the hiring process is reflective of our desire to hire the "right" people who will enhance our practice. We seek to hire lawyers who will become shareholders in the firm, and once hired, we invest a considerable amount of time, effort and money in training and mentoring associates to help them succeed.

 

Associates at Saalfeld Griggs come from diverse backgrounds, but the common thread is their intelligence, ability to find practical solutions to complex legal issues, and outgoing, engaging personalities. Our associates enjoy unprecedented contact with our clients early on, as well as ready access to all other lawyers to discuss problems and work on solutions. We clearly subscribe to the team approach to solving problems for our clients.

Each associate is assigned to both a supervising lawyer and a mentor, and those partners work closely with the associate to aid in their integration into the firm. Performance reviews are conducted two times per year.
